ADA: putting people out of business
Some lawyers use the American with Disabilities Act to sue small businesses and force them into settlements for some lawyers its great business, but it is a raw deal for the rest of us.

A lawsuit requiring every taxi to be wheelchair accessible
There is a new lawsuit being filed that aims to make every taxi cab in New york city wheelchair accessible. If you believe the advocates of the lawsuit the increase cost will amount to $2,000 per cab ride used by someone in a wheelchair, if you go by New York City's estimate (based on a pilot program) the number is closer to $63,000 per ride. Is this reasonable?
