Title IX hurting middle school boys

In some areas, like Pittsburgh, there aren't enough girls to field a basketball team for 5th and 6th graders, the solution to the problem (so that the schools stay title IX compliant) is to not allow the boys to play if the girls don't want to, all in the name of fairness. I'm all for letting girls play sports, but should we deny boys the opportunity to play sports if their female counterparts don't want to?

The New Rules for Sex on Campus

Philadelphia magazine has an excellent piece about the idiotic new regulations passed by the federal government that turns most college men into sexual predators. This shouldn't shock anyone that the government would fly in the face of common sense.

The Gender Pay Gap

One Reason men make more money then women, they ask for it.
There are a lot of factors that go into the pay gap between men and women. If you compare men and women that have the same education, work hours (etc), women make about 89 cents on the dollar to men.
One of the factors is that men are more likely to negotiate for a better raise, or better initial salary.
