Towns could get break from liability
Connecticut legislature passed a bill that would protect municipalities and small towns from frivolous lawsuits.
The bill was crafted in response to a liability case where a jury award a women
$2.9 Million after she ran into a closed gate while racing her friend down a steep hill
and severely injured herself.
